A bit about me...

Hey, my name is Irina and I am the person behind TheWanderlustDiary.com.

I was born in Bulgaria, and at the age of seven, I moved to the UK. This was my first experience with a different culture, and I can safely say it shaped how I see the world. Living in a new country at a young age helped me adapt quickly, learn a new language, and understand different ways of life.

I spent 21 years in the UK, where I grew up, studied, and built my life. The experience of living in two countries gave me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity as I became curious about how people live, and what traditions they follow.

As you can probably guess, travelling is one of my biggest passions and yes, I’m a Sagittarius! If there's one thing I love the most, it's exploring new places, and seeing how locals go about their daily lives. Food is also a huge part of my travels and I make it a mission to try local dishes wherever I go. Every destination teaches me something new, whether it’s a unique tradition, an interesting historical fact, or a different way of thinking.

My blog is a space where I share my experiences, insights, and discoveries, along with specially curated travel guides and itineraries to help you plan your own adventures. I love sharing travel stories, cultural observations, and foodie finds, always aiming to make each post both fun and insightful.
